(From Clark Funeral Home)Mary J. Adams was born March 19, 1959 in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of Marvin and Mary (Swoboda) Pierce. She entered into rest on February 16, 2022 in Joplin, following an illness at the age of 62.
Mary moved to the area from Omaha 30 years ago and had worked for the City of Neosho and at Kwik Mart. She was a homemaker, had been a foster parent and enjoyed fishing and going to the casino. She was of the Catholic faith.
On July 4, 1987, in Glenwood, Iowa, Mary and James Adams were united in marriage and he survives.
In addition to her husband, Mary is survived by two children, Michael Bogenrief and wife, Mehia of Longview, Missouri and Anna Bogenrief of Omaha, Nebraska; two stepchildren, Tosha Gibbons of Southwest City, Missouri and Terra Smith of Neosho; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and siblings, Madelyn Mandina and husband, Donnie, Marvin Joe Pierce and wife, Lisa, Maurine Roberts and husband, Ivan, Michael Pierce and Melody Wilson and wife, Monek.
She is preceded in death by her parents and son, John Patrick.
