(From Paul Thomas Funeral Home)Michael Ray Miller of Miami, OK passed from this life Friday, May 6, 2022 at Integris Miami Hospital in Miami, OK. He was 69.
Michael was born July 27, 1952 in Tulsa, OK to Gerald Ray and Leslie Jeanette (Wynn) Miller. He had lived in Miami since 2005 moving from Mechanicsville, MD. Michael graduated from Central High School in Springfield, MO in 1970.
He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam as a fireman and helicopter mechanic. He was an aircraft mechanic and technician for the U.S. Navy for 20 years in Mechanicsville, MD.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Gary Lee Miller and 1 sister, Teresa May Dykeman.
Survivors includes 2 sons, Jeffrey Ray Gray and wife Julia of Joplin, MO and Mikesohn Miller of Vietnam, 2 daughters, Christina Ann Kunzler of Miami, OK and Tina Marie Coffman of Baxter Springs, KS, 2 sisters, Linda Kay Reynolds of Hanover, PA and Dedria Lucille Miller of Miami, OK, 6 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK. Mickey Rogers will officiate. Interment will be in Sixkiller Cemetery, southeast of Afton, OK. Jeffrey Ray Gray, Austin Medlin, Nick Lute, Larry Miller, Christina Kunzler and Jamie Myers will serve as pallbearers. Military Rites will be conducted by Grove Veterans Funeral Detail. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
