(From Clark Funeral Home)Matthew Allen “Fred” Lawson, age 35, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at his home. He was born September 25, 1986, in Joplin, Missouri, to Cecil Ethridge and Violet Lawson.
Matthew worked as a light assembler for TowMate LLC, an emergency light manufacturing company. He was an avid fisherman, loved spending time outdoors with his children, and loved any opportunity he had to grill.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother, Violet; three children, Austin, Kolton, and Kynnedy Lawson; one sister Tina Hood; two nephews, Kolby and Brandon Hood; one niece Kayleigh Hood; stepfather, Curtis Rice; his fiancé, Barbara Wright, and her children, Abbie, Katie, Daniel, Trinity, and Matt; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In addition to his father, his maternal grandparents, Pete and Shirley Lawson and Aunt Valerie Edwards, preceded him in death.
A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, in the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Neosho, Missouri.
