(From Knell Mortuary)Linda Joyce Ditmars, 66, Joplin, Missouri, passed away early Wednesday morning, August 24, 2022, at her home. Linda was born March 24, 1956, in Downey, California, the daughter of Melvin and Peggy Ditmars.
She worked at Joplin Workshops, Inc. and attended Forest Park Baptist Church in Joplin. Linda loved crafting, board games, playing Bingo and Yahtzee, but most of all, spending time with her friends.
She is survived by a brother, Dale Ditmars; stepmother, Olive Ditmars; her long-time roommate and friend, Betty Lawrence; her roommate and friend, Cheri Davis; and a lot of staff at Preferred Family Healthcare that loved her dearly.
Memorial services will be held 2 pm, Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Knell Mortuary, Carthage. Online condolences may be expressed through www.knellmortuary.com. Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Knell Mortuary.
