(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Ruby Nadine Lee went to be with Jesus and loved ones gone before her on Saturday, August 20, 2022. Ruby was born on December 2, 1951 in Kansas City Mo to Wayne and Mary (Melton) Pauley.
Ruby is survived by her daughter Sheri and husband Robert Needham and a son, James Lee. 3 granddaughters, Tiffini Needham, Alexandria and her husband Aaron Powers and Amanda and husband, Edward Peterson. 6 great grandchildren, Kaden and Chloe Gilmore, Laken and Jordynn Harrison, Evan Powers, and Wyatt, Tinsley and Walker Peterson, All of Joplin.
Ruby attended Joplin public schools, graduated from Parkwood High in 1969 and later went on to school to become a CNA.
She spent a good bit of her life taking care of others. Ruby was a nurse tech/sitter and retired from Freeman Hospital. She loved to crochet and always enjoyed reading a good mystery or love story. Many mornings you would find her at local restaurants drinking coffee and conversing with friends and family.
Ruby spent her last few years residing at NHC, where she loved the staff. She enjoyed Bible study and always looked forward to getting her hair and nails done.
She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
