Richard Stonebraker

Richard Grant Stonebraker, 72, passed away peacefully at home on August 18, 2022.

Richard was born on July 25, 1950 in St. Charles, Missouri to the late Ralph and Bernadine Stonebraker. He graduated from St. Charles High School, Crowder College, and the University of Tulsa. 

Richard played baseball while attending Crowder College and the University of Tulsa; where he was a starter and team MVP of the College World Series baseball team in 1971. 








Richard married Rebecca (Baker) on June 12, 1970. He coached multiple sports at various levels and was a Special Education Teacher at both Bowling Green High School and Edmonson County High School.

Richard is survived by his wife, Rebecca, three sons, Steve of Middleburg, KY, Tim of Bowling Green, KY and Jason (Paula) of Bowling Green, KY; one grandson, Solomon; brothers Tom (Cindy) of Bowling Green, KY, Robert (Debbie) of O'Fallon, MO; and his sister Janet House of St. Charles, MO.

All are welcome to attend the Celebration of Life, on Friday August 26th from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at J.C. Kirby & Son on Lovers Lane in Bowling Green, KY.
