Andrei Alekhine, age 68, of Carthage, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Carthage Health & Rehab with loved ones by his side.
Andrei, son of the late Nikolai and Ekaterina (Yakunecheva) Alekhine, was born on July 22, 1954 in Russia. On March 12, 1982 he was united in marriage to Valentina Gulyayeva. She survives.
Also surviving are his children, son, Alexandre Alekhine, and daughter, Irina Aldrete; and one brother, Alex Alekine.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin.
