(From Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home)Mrs. Ella Jane Clark, 91, of Sarcoxie, Missouri, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
Ella was born on November 17, 1930 in rural Newton County, Missouri to the union of the late John and Fern (Howell) Kisling.
On July 21, 1951 she was united in marriage to Freddie Lester Clark, sharing forty-eight years together until his passing on November 28, 1999. Ella was a member of Redwood Holiness Church in Sarcoxie.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, crocheting, cooking, her flower gardens and working on the family farm. She was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother and loved her family dearly. She will truly be missed by those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings, Ruth Smith, Carl Kisling, Clarence Kisling and John Kisling.
Ella is survived by her children, Connie Carnes and husband, Jim, Lora Clark and Martin Clark, all of Sarcoxie; grandchildren, Donna Hamilton and husband, Steve, of Carthage and Kristi Metcalf and husband, Matt, also of Carthage; six great-grandchildren; nine great-great- grandchildren and another great-great due in December; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Clark at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at the Sarcoxie Cemetery with Pastors Charles Cunningham and Kenneth Filsinger officiating.

Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Jim Carnes, Gale Turner, Mike Turner, Leroy Smith, Matt Metcalf and Bill Willoughby. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6-8: 00 p.m. at the funeral home.
