Barry Stanton Dobbs, age 71, of Miller, Missouri, passed away at 1:50 a.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at his home. He was born September 15, 1950, in Sheldon, Missouri, the son of Bruce Albert and Hazel W. (Britton) Dobbs, Sr.
Barry was a 1968 graduate of Joplin High School in Joplin, Missouri and received his bachelor’s degree in 1972 from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin. He taught math in various high schools and was of the Methodist faith.
Barry is survived by his nephew, Britt Dobbs and his wife, Dawn, of Belton, Missouri; niece, Missy Morris and her husband, George, of Seneca, Missouri; great-niece, Autumn Morris of Wyandotte, Oklahoma and two great-nephews, Brice Dobbs and his wife, Rachel, and Blake Dobbs, all of Joplin, Missouri.
Barry was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Hazel and brother, Bruce Dobbs Jr.
