(From Clark Funeral Home)Warren Dale Jobe, age 75, of Neosho, died Monday, August 29, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin. He was born December 7, 1946, to Herman and Sybil (Shirley) Jobe in Carthage, Missouri.
A United States Air Force veteran, Dale married the love of his life, Mary Ann (Streff) Jobe, on June 6, 1970, in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Dale and Mary Ann’s 52-year marriage produced two children, a daughter, Gretchen Petzold (Shane), of Belton, Missouri, and a son, Britton, of Springfield, Missouri, and two grandchildren, Caden and Kyler.
A lifelong enthusiast of anything with a motor, Dale enjoyed a long career that utilized his mechanical inclination. Following service in the Air Force as an aircraft mechanic beginning at age 17 during the Vietnam War, Dale transitioned into a similar role in the private sector. After obtaining the necessary training and education, Dale’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to start and lead several businesses, including one that designed and installed fiberglass satellite dishes and another that designed, engineered, and installed large-scale wastewater treatment systems.
Dale enjoyed many activities in retirement, including woodworking, restoring classic cars, fishing, cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals with Mary Ann, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Clark Funeral Home in Neosho. Graveside service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Gibson Cemetery in Neosh o.
