Brandon Jones

Brandon D. Jones, age 39, passed away on Sunday March 26, 2023 at Mercy Hospital of Joplin after a short illness.

Brandon was born April 22, 1983 to Kenneth D. Jones of Joplin and Angela S. (Lawson) Jones also of Joplin. Brandon leaves behind his wife and best friend Stacy M. (Wright) Jones and their two daughters, Chezney and Cadee. Along with Gary Meyers whom Brandon considered his stepdad.

  

Brandon was an avid outdoorsman who loved spending time at the creek either fishing, floating or looking for Indian artifacts, he also enjoyed hunting when he could. Brandon worked as a cook at Timberline Steakhouse, and later worked for both Freeman Health and Missouri Southern as part of grounds maintenance. Brandon and Stacy also ran their own Lawn mowing service, Hauling Grass.

Brandon was preceded in death by his younger brother, Kirk A. Jones, known by many as "Lil Jones".

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary with the family to hold memorial services at a later date.
