Clifford Dick

Clifford Leo Dick, age 83, went home to his Lord and Savior on March 24, 2023. Clifford was a devoted family man that loved his wife, family, chickens, and cows, along with watching westerns and WWE. Clifford was born on February 28, 1940 to Clifford Dale Dick, and Geneva Williams-Dick in Jay, Oklahoma.

Clifford spent his earlier years living in Oregon, where he worked driving a forklift driver and driving a semi- truck, and after 30 plus years, he finished his career working with his brother, Rodney driving a log truck. Clifford met the love of his life Patricia Mae Smith-Dick in the mid 1980’s and resided in Grants Pass, Oregon until relocating back to Jay, Oklahoma and building a home there on the family farm.

Clifford is preceded in death by his son Ricky Joe Dick; grandson-in-law Daniel Gonzalez; his parents Dale and Geneva Dick; brother Larry L. Dick; sister Sylvia Sue Dick; and five brothers- in- law.

Clifford is survived by his wife Patricia Dick of the home in Jay, OK; son Alan Leo Dick of Springfield, Oregon; daughters Tonya Sue Buzzard of the home and Shelly Lynn McDowell of Washington; nine grandchildren, Derek Dick, Chalian Dick, Brian Dick of Washington, Nick Dick, Amanda Payton, Whitney Gonzelle of the home, James Renoldes, Challan Dick of Springfield, Oregon, and Kayla Renoldes; great - grandchildren Alley Dick of Springfield, OR, Ryker Dale Dick of Ketchum, OK, Gizelle Gonzelle, Alicia Gonzalez and Ariana Gonzalez of the home in Jay, OK; brothers and sisters; Mary Ellen Knight of Jay, OK, Doris Reece of Southwest City, MO, Dallene Harrington of Granby, MO, Ronald J. Dick of Grants Pass, Oregon, Bucilla Brown of Jay, OK, Lloyd Dick and wife Quannah of Fairland, OK, Yolanda Hutchison and husband Gene of Jay, Rodney Dick and wife Sonya of Jay, OK, Debbie Mikalen and husband John of Sapulpa, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Clifford’s family visitation to greet friends will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 from 6:00 – 8:00pm at Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 311 W. Gray St., Jay, OK.

Clifford’s Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, 2:00pm, March 29, 2023 at Oak Chapel Church, Jay, OK. with Rev. Darren Robbins officiating. Followed by his funeral procession to Mount Hermon Cemetery, Jay, OK. Clifford’s burial will be at Mount Hermon Cemetery, Jay, OK.
