(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Dennie Jack Lynch of Joplin, MO, age 91, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. He was born in Frankfort, KS on October 18, 1931.
He is preceded in death by parents Dennis & Fern Lynch, brother Robert, late wife and mother of his daughters Shirley Tinsley Lynch and step-daughter Lea Ann Hough.
He is survived by his loving wife Loretta, daughters Lisa Nolan and Melissa Chammas, their husbands Doug Nolan and Jacques Chammas, grandchildren John Nolan and wife Jennifer, Jordyn Nolan, Marie Fields and husband Curtis, Chantal Chammas, step-daughter Lisa Jolley, step-grandchild Rachel Ornelas and husband Terry, and step-great grandchildren Adrianna and Anthony.

As a lifelong Christian, his faith guided his life. He was a KU graduate and enthusiastic Jayhawk fan. He served his country in the United States Navy Medical Corps. During his career as an insurance adjuster with State Farm, he impacted many lives with his work ethic and joyful demeanor. His positive outlook was imparted to all who knew him. He was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman, and shared these hobbies with his grandkids and his many friends. His flair for fashion was always noticed in dapper hats, spiffy bow-ties and always accompanied by a cigar.
His love for music inspired him early in life to play the tenor saxophone in a dance band, and lifelong participation in men’s quartet, church choir, and to create his signature rendition of happy birthday.
His associations included MAKO Fisherman, Optimist, investment club, Sonshiners, Joy Club, volunteer for Crosslines & Mercy Hospital.

Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Forest Park Baptist Church. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation immediately following the service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
