(From Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home)Ramon Money, 91 of Seneca went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday March 26 at The Arbors at Silver Creek in Joplin. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Seneca where he served as a deacon.
Ramon Dean Money was born June 17, 1931 near Mt. Vernon MO the son of Everet and Madeline (Powell) Money. He worked in the lumber business and came to Seneca in 1958 to manage Seneca Lumber Company. After the lumber business he sold home improvements for Sears and drove a charter bus for Viking. Everything he did he tried to do his best.
On March 24, 1951 Ramon married Lila Lee Colwell at Mt. Vernon and they enjoyed 69 years together until her passing March 30, 2020. Survivors include two sons, Jerry of Seneca and Paul (Teresa) of Nixa MO, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded iin death by his brothers Bob and David.
The body has been taken for cremation under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO. A private family burial will be in Seneca Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
