(From Greenfield Funeral Home)John Willis Daigh, of Golden City, MO, passed peacefully in his home on March 19, 2023 at 5:56 PM with his daughter and granddaughters by his side at the age of 75.
Our Papa was born on December 22, 1947 in Lockwood MO. No words can describe what a great Dad, Papa, and friend he was. He loved farming, fishing, gardening, and just being outside.
Papa is survived by one daughter, Melissa Daigh Prestage; his grandkids, Erica, Jacob , Marissa and Alex; one brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lynn Daigh; one sister, Joan Lewis; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Marcia; one daughter, Heather Daigh White; one son, Jacob Wendell Daigh; his parents; and an older brother.
Graveside services will be held on April 2, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Pennsboro Cemetery. Finger foods will follow with reminiscing at the Pennsboro church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family. Cremation services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
