(From Clark Funeral Home)Anna “Pearl” Loudermilk, age 80, of Diamond, Missouri, passed away at 3:44 a.m. on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. She was born October 3, 1942, in Shell Knob, Missouri, to the daughter of the late Willard LaFayette and Sarah Anna (Crawford) Mahurin.
On April 7, 1961, she married Donald Loudermilk in Miami, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on March 29, 2015.
Pearl lived in Newton County her entire life, attended The First Church of God in Granby, Missouri, and was a member of the Teamsters Union. She worked as a soldering technician for Solder- Ducommun and LaBarge. Along with her late husband, Don, owned and operated Don’s 24-hour Wrecker Service until selling the business in 1984. She loved to indulge in a good steak dinner in Joplin or Carthage and spend time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Brittany Loudermilk of Diamond; two grandsons, Auston and Aaron Loudermilk of Granby; two brothers, Ken and Larry Mahurin; six sisters, Erma Bowling, Wilma Hoover, Jane Vermillion, Sue Owens, Pat Lasiter, and Marilyn Kyser.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by one son, Donald “Donnie” Loudermilk; two brothers, Roger Dale and Junior Mahurin; and two sisters, Evelyn Williams and Juanita Woodcock- Channel.
The Clark Funeral Home in Granby has conducted arrangements. No services are planned at this time.
