Martha Alford

Martha A. Alford, age 84, of Asbury, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at her home.

Martha, daughter of the late Clyde and Dorothy Adams, was born on January 3, 1939, in Arizona. She was employed with Elders Manufacturing and then retired from Mid-Com Cable after several years of employment. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crocheting, and attended Waco Baptist Church when her health allowed.

 

Survivors include her son, William “Bill” Alford, and his wife, Jennifer, of Asbury; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her son, John Alford; and two brothers, Dan Adams and John Adams.

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at 11:00AM at Waco Cemetery in Waco. Friends may visit the mortuary after 2:00PM until closing on Monday, March 27th for a time of viewing and guest book signing. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Research Institute and may be entrusted to the mortuary.
