(From Nichols Funeral Home)Paige D. Martin, age 22, of Grove passed tragically from this life on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. A twin, Paige and her sister, Payton were born on April 20, 2000, to Todd and Sandra Martin in Grove, Ok.
Paige was born with hip dysplasia and endured 4 surgeries in which she was in a half body cast for many weeks each time.
Through the generosity of the Shriners International, Paige was able to undergo those surgeries, something she was grateful for throughout her life. At a young age, her resilience and tenaciousness were tested as she recovered time and time again.
Paige attended Grove Public School and played the alto saxophone in both the marching band and the jazz band. She graduated Class of 2018.
After graduation, Paige attended Oklahoma State University and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing with a minor in Accounting, graduating in 2022.
She returned to Grove after graduation and accepted a position as the Marketing Coordinator for Riverbend Casino.
Paige was passionate about health and fitness and devoted many hours to weightlifting and workouts.
She loved music of all kinds and always had a song on her lips.
A ray of sunshine, Paige lit up a room when she entered and she was a beautiful person inside and out. She was funny, quick witted and confident. Paige was kind to everyone, a joy to be around and loved by many.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandpa, Denny Martin.
Left to cherish her memory, her parents, Todd and Sandra (Tanner) Martin, her twin sister and best friend, Payton Martin, aunt, Wendy Mauldin (Clay), aunt, Krista Wildermuth (David), all of Grove; uncle Scott Tanner (Toni) of Carthage, TX, paternal grandma, Judy Martin and maternal grandparents, David and Debbie Tanner.
Funeral services will be at 11am Saturday, March 25, 2023, at First Baptist Church in Grove.
