Beatrice Weaver

Beatrice Louise Weaver, age 90, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 4:55 a.m. on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at the Lawrence County Manor, in Mt. Vernon. She was born January 2, 1933, in Pierce City, Missouri, the daughter of Frank and Velma (Barrier) Clapper.

Beatrice was a 1950 graduate of Sarcoxie High School, in Sarcoxie, Missouri. She was a homemaker and worked for the Anderson Uniform Company in Mt. Vernon. She enjoyed needlepoint, sewing, quilting, crocheting, making clothes for the children and was of the Baptist faith.

On September 18, 1950, she married Billy Gene Weaver, in Diamond, Missouri. He preceded her in death on January 8, 2018.

Beatrice is survived by five children, Larry Weaver and his wife, Karla, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, Wanda Johnson of Rescue, Missouri, Jeanne Limbocker of Anderson, Missouri, Carole Motley and her husband, Ellis, of Pierce City, Missouri and Billy Weaver and his wife, Barbara, of Stotts City, Missouri; three sisters, Juanita Clayton, Lois Phillips and her husband, Carl, and Marilyn Holland and her husband, Norman; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, Frank, and Velma; husband, Billy; sister, Jean Johnson; five brothers, Frank, Robert, Glen, John, and Gary Clapper; one grandson and one great-granddaughter.
