Lonnie Stump

Our mom, Lonetta (Lonnie) Esther Stump, of Greenfield, MO, sadly passed away peacefully at home with her husband Wayne on May 5, 2023 at the age of 80. She spent the last 43 years of her life with her love, Wayne, who she adored completely.

Lonnie was born August 13, 1942, in Lebanon, Missouri to Walena Stidham and Vaughn Morgan, who precede her in death. She graduated from Central High School in 1960. 

She later attended cosmetology school before marrying in 1961 and having three children, Beth, Quinn and Rick.








Lonnie was an avid Square dancer for over 40 years and made many friends through this activity. She has had many pets over the years that she loved dearly – Snort and Suzy, Rosie, Sugar Bear, Marlow and Willie.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years Wayne Stump of Greenfield, Beth Billingsley and her husband Donald Burks of Springfield, grandsons Jesse Dodson and his wife Veronica, of Dunnegan, MO, Nick Dodson of Springfield, Curtis Collins and wife Stephanie, of Chesapeake, and Cory Collins of Springfield. Lonnie is also survived by daughter Quinn Holland of Ash Grove, grandson Stacy Holland and his wife Sarah, of Everton. One son, Rick Billingsley, his wife Meihua and twin grandchildren Gavin and Sanya, all of Bois D'arc.

She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren - Cohen, Ta’Kaya, Bailey and Oliver Dodson, Braydon and Ava Holland, Emma Collins and Isabella Ridenhour Dodson.








“Sissy” is also survived by one brother, Gene Morgan of Springdale, Arkansas, and two nieces, Amy Morgan of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Leslie Conte, of Sandown, New Hampshire.

In lieu of flowers it was Lonnie’s wish that donations be made to Polk County Humane Society.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, in Greenfield Cemetery. Services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
