Mark Freeze

Mark Wayne Freeze, born November 25th, 1966 in Springfield, MO, died on May 3rd, 2023 after a brief illness while surrounded by his loving family and friends.

Mark is survived by his wife, Marie Freeze; son and daughter-in-law, Colten and Maddie Freeze; mother, Sue Freeze; brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Judy Freeze; grandchildren, Truman Freeze, Deacon Freeze, and Rory Freeze; nephew and niece, Dalton and Lauren Freeze; niece, Dakota Freeze; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loving family.








Mark is preceded in death by his father, Bob Freeze; brother, Douglas Freeze; grandparents, Roy and Dorothy Brown, and Marion and Ada Freeze.

Mark enjoyed fishing, working on the farm, and spending time with his grandchildren. He built many friendships in his life in Greenfield, MO and in his 27 year career at Burlington Northern. Mark was a member of the Washington Lodge #87 A.F. & A.M., Greenfield Chapter #38 R.A.M., Bert S. Lee Council #58 R. & S.M., Constantine Commandery #27 K. T., and Abou Ben Adhem Shrine.







A visitation service will be held at the Greenfield Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, May 9th from 6 pm to 8 pm with Masonic Services beginning at 7 pm. A private graveside funeral will follow.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Shriners Children’s Hospital.
