Laura Cooper

Laura Mae Cooper was welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on February 4, 2024, following a lengthy illness. 

Laura was born on September 17th, 1965, to George Cooper and Patrica Cooper (Anger). Laura graduated from Neosho High School class of 1983, after that she joined the United States Navy serving her country proud. Laura then proceeded to return to school and graduated with her RN degree from Labette Community College. 







Laura loved taking care of others while working various jobs from local hospitals to local long term care facilities and even traveling as far as California as a traveling nurse. Laura enjoyed going out to eat, dancing, going to the casino, getting dressed up, having her nails and hair done and spending time with family.

On August 13th,1988, she married James Maynard Randall. This union brought five beautiful children whom she adored. Laura was many things, but one of her biggest joys in life's telling you what her children and grandchild were accomplishing in life. She was a proud daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her mother and stepfather Pat (Michael) Anger, stepmother, Jackie Cooper Berlin, two sisters Lindi (Kenny) Davis, Lisa (Danny) Shell all of Cassville, Stepsister Aimee (Gene) Russell, Joplin Mo.

Children, Amber (Brandon) Sullivan, Garden City KS. Rocky (Alisha) Randall Seneca MO., Ashley Prosser (Steve), Chapman KS, Ryan (Haley) Miami OK. Matthew (Paige) Neosho MO.








Grandchildren-Austin, Brady, Chase, Brylee, Little Rock, Braxton, Axel, Lily, Chloe, Kolby, Macy, Treygan, Gatlin, and several other nieces and nephews.

Laura is preceded in death by her father, George Cooper, her grandparents and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Roma and James Cleveland.

A Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho. Following the visitation, the family will have a meal at the United Methodist Church from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
