Pansy Henley

Pansy Lamyra Henley, age 97, Joplin, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024 in Joplin with family at her side.

Pansy was born November 9, 1926 in Lawtey, FL, daughter of the late Willie Reddish and Rosa (Rossie) Reddish. She grew up in Florida and graduated from Stark High School in Stark, FL. 

She married Donald Eugene Henley after high school and they moved to St. Louis, MO in 1946. They would later move to Wisconsin before moving to Bronaugh, MO in 1968. 








She loved to garden and was known for her beautiful yard and gardens, and also filled her free time enjoying the stock market through the years, making different transactions over the years. She was a loving mother who was also proud of the foster children she help raise over the years. She will be deeply missed by many.

In addition to her parents, Pansy was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Henley, who passed away on January 29, 2016.








Survivors include her children, Don Henley, Jr. and wife Jeanifer of Webb City, MO, David Henley and wife Shannie of Springfield, MO, and Sheila McClellan and husband Bobby of Stark, FL; grandchildren, Jeffery McClellan, Dustin Henley, Darrin “Bubba” Henley, Dakota Henley, and Sarah Moffet; seven great-grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary with private family services to be held at a later date in Florida.
