(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Yony Oswaldo Ruiz Espana, 38, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2025, in Kansas City, Missouri. Yony was born October 24, 1986, in Escuintla, Tiquisate, Gutemala to Eulalio Ruiz Garcia and Rosa Espana Lopez.
Yony was married to Delsy Darina Tema Salvador De Ruiz; she survives.
Yony is survived by his wife, Delsy; six sons, Christian, Amner Emilio, Antony Gabriel, Marcos Esteban, and Yony Daniel; his parents, Eulalio and Rosa; six brothers, Edgar, Jose Fredy, Cruz, Santos, Alex, and Marvin; and three sisters, Elizabeth, Carmen, and Gloria.
Services will be from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Emmanuel Church on East Fairview (with red roof) in Carthage, Missouri. Yony will be flown to Guatemala for burial.
