(From Clark Funeral Home)Jeremy Andrew Bailey Rugg, age 52, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away on March 5, 2026. Born on November 3, 1973, in Everett, Washington, Jeremy lived a life defined by honesty, love, and a genuine kindness that touched all who knew him.
Jeremy was, above all else, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
He cherished his role in his family's life and found his greatest joy in the people he loved. Those who knew him best would describe him as a man who lived fully in the moment, embracing life with warmth and authenticity. He had an honest heart and a generous spirit that made others feel truly seen and valued.
Jeremy loved to fish, even if he would be the first to admit he was not particularly good at it. What mattered to him was not the catch but the experience itself. He also enjoyed playing his Ingress game and spending time with his children over video games, creating memories that his family will carry with them always. As a grandfather to three wonderful grandchildren, he brought that same joy and presence into every moment they shared.
Jeremy is survived by his wife, Angela Summers; his parents, Mike and Mary Rugg; his sisters, Jennifer Rugg and Jolene Rugg; his sons, Dakota Summers, Shawn Woodle, and JC Sponseller; and his daughters, Demeri Summers-Stacy and Haley Sponseller; as well as three beloved grandchildren.
Jeremy once said not to promise or guarantee anything, because promises always got broken and guarantees never got filled. His word, however, was his bond. May his spirit find everlasting peace, and may his family find comfort in knowing that Jeremy lived exactly as he believed, with honesty, with love, and fully in the moment.
