Tanner Hodges

Tanner Keagan Gene Hodges, 23, a United States Army Combat Engineer, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026. Tanner was born on February 5, 2003, in Fort Riley, Kansas, to Jeremy G. and Angela M. (Oldt) Hodges. Tanner graduated with the class of 2021 from Columbus High School in Columbus, Kansas. 

In high school, Tanner loved sports and anything outdoors. He wrestled and played football, enjoyed being outside, hunted deer, and loved going fishing with his grandpa. One of the things Tanner also enjoyed was singing Karaoke when he had an opportunity. He later joined the United States Army, where he worked as a Combat Engineer. He was currently stationed in Fort Carson, Colorado. 






Mr. Hodges was preceded in passing by his maternal grandmother, Linda Oldt, and paternal grandfather, Roy Gene Hodges. 

Those who will continue to share Tanner’s memories are his mom and dad, Jeremy and Angela Hodges of Miami, his brothers Brett Taylor Graham of Webb City and Cohen H. Hodges of Miami, his maternal grandfather Robert Oldt and his wife Jo, his paternal grandmother Becky Hodges, his girlfriend Audrey Pardede, along with his aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. 

Visitation will be on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami. 








Services for Tanner are 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at First Christian Church with Pastor Mark Sanders officiating. Services have been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami. Full Military rites will be provided by the United States Army Funeral Honors Team.
Casketbearers will be Cohen Hodges, Bob Oldt, Bryce Darnell, Brett Graham, Tommy Thomas, and Cy Darnell.
