Margaret Ann Cobaugh, 78, passed away Friday, January 20, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin. Margaret was born September 19, 1938 in Erie, Kansas to John Henry Tipping and Minerva Elizabeth “Huffman” Tipping. She was a lifetime resident of Carthage and a homemaker.
Margaret is survived by three sons: David Finley of Diamond and wife Pam, Bert Finley and John Tipping, both of Carthage; three daughters: Margaret Ann Wooldridge of Carthage, Carol Cobaugh and Barbara Finley , both of Diamond; and one sister, Lottie Bass and husband Mason, Jr. of Columbus, Kansas and a “slew” of grandkids.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, one sister Amy Madl and two brothers John W. Tipping and Dwight “Buck” Tipping.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Jasper Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Ulmer Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ulmer Funeral Home.
