June Bernice Barks Bollinger, Neosho, passed into glory on January 21, 2017 at the age of 90.
June was born on June 1, 1926 in Sedgewicksville, Missouri, the daughter of Janie and Daniel Barks. June was a homemaker and loved sewing, babies, gardening and cooking. She demonstrated an open heart and open home to all who came under her care and taught her children to show loving hospitality. More than anything, June loved her Savior, Jesus Christ and was committed to him in life and death.
June and Jim Bollinger were united in marriage on October 4, 1943 in Cape Girardeau and shared 73 years of marriage together. To this union, six children were born, Launny (Jo) Bollinger of Quitman, TX; Kay (Dean) Cade of Arvada, CO; Jim (Ann) Bollinger of Neosho, MO; Connie (Don) Boeckenstedt of Staunton, IL; Patty (Nat) Diliberto of Topeka, KS and Kenny (Kathy) Bollinger of Bella Vista, AR; June also has 14 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
