Dora B. Wilson, Guthrie, OK, formerly of Neosho, died on January 21, 2017 at her home, following a lengthy illness, at the age of 85.
Dora was born May 2, 1931 in Neosho, the daughter of Wm. R. and Beulah (Testerman) Pearman. She graduated from Neosho High School in 1949 and was a lifelong area resident. Dora had worked as office manager for Kelly and Compton CPA for over 50 years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and taking care of others and was a member of the First Christian Church.
Dora and Roy La Verne Wilson were married on March 24, 1950 in Neosho and he survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Gail Wilson of Oklahoma City, OK and Donna Wilson of Guthrie, OK.
Graveside services will be held on Wed., Jan. 25, 2017 at 2 pm at the Belfast Cemetery, Neosho. The family will receive friends prior to the graveside service at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho from 12:30 to 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Dora may be made to Roy La Verne Wilson to establish a memorial garden in Dora’s honor, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66, Neosho, MO 64850.
