Margaret Marie Clark, 87, Neosho, died January 26, 2017 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin.
She was born December 24, 1929 in Newton County, Missouri, the daughter of John and Alice (Giett) McDaniel. Margaret was a lifelong Newton County resident and had worked in retail sales. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church where she served as song leader and treasurer.
Margaret married Paul James Clark on February 14, 1951 in Miami, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on November 11, 2003. She is survived by three daughters, Paula Kinkade and husband, Brian, Glenna Helms and husband James, Carol Cook and husband, Rob; two sisters, Lou Starks and Lorene Mackey; six grandchildren and four great grandsons. In addition to her husband, Margaret is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Lloyd McDaniel and William McDaniel.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Burkhart Cemetery in Racine with Rev. Johnny Wilkins and Rev. Tim Shields officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Nick Ritter, Travis Ritter, Josh Kinkade, Rob Cook, John Westgate, Ethan Karges, Joseph Karges and David Helms.
