James E. Woodard, age 85, of Noel, Missouri passed away January 16, 2017 in the McDonald County Living Center.
James was born July 20, 1931 to the late Earl and Ida (Jordan) Woodard in Goodman, Missouri. James lived most of his life in the area. He faithfully served his country during the Korean Conflict and later returned to McDonald County. He married Irene Fields in Miami, Oklahoma on May 17, 1956 and to this union four children were born. James worked as a forklift driver in the trailer plant and also did construction work. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors.
James is survived by his wife Irene of the home, three daughters: Toni Crowley of Jane, MO, Janice Robb of North Carolina and Kathy Landinger of Texas, one son: Rick Woodard of Noel, Missouri, a sister Mary June Cockrins of Collins, MO, ten grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren as well as many other family and friends.
A visitation for Mr. James E. Woodard will be held Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 3 until 5 p.m. at the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri. The family will receive friends at this time.
