Edgar Arvid Beavers, age 74 of Joplin, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at his home following an extended illness.
Edgar was born on November 5, 1942 in Dement, Texas to the late Louise A. Beavers and Joy Beavers. He worked as a Lineman for the cable company for many years.
On February 4, 1961, Edgar married Linda Bradford in Stella, Missouri. She preceded him in death on March 14, 2014.
Survivors include a daughter, Charlotte Henson and husband, Brian of Joplin; son, Mike Beavers and wife, Belinda of Carthage, Missouri; brother, Billy Ray Beavers and wife, Roanne of Mt. Vernon; 16 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and many extended family.
Graveside services are planned for Friday, January 27 at 3:00 p.m. at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery, Joplin.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
