David A. Pietrzak, beloved father and grandfather, age 62, of Joplin, passed away on Saturday January 21, 2017 at Freeman Hospital, following an illness.
David was born on May 13, 1954 in Washington D.C. the son of Donald and Dorothy (Hamilton) Pietrzak. He was a graduate of Neosho High School. He was a Catholic. David owned and operated Zak Construction Company. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and was a member of Freedom of Road Riders Motorcycle Club.
He is survived by a daughter, Meagan Pietrzak, Spring, Tx.; two sons, Jeremy Pietrzak, Joplin, and Joshua Pietrzak, Tulsa, Ok.; his father, Donald Pietrzak, Joplin; two brothers, Michael Pietrzak and wife Mabel, Hidalgo, Tx., and John Pietrzak and wife Nancy, Joplin; and eleven grandchildren, Kamilla Rodriguez, Celia Rodriguez, Julianna Pietrzak, Nathan Wagner, Serynity Pietrzak, Joshua Youngblood, Ali Youngblood, Anthony Pietrzak, Amelia Grace Pietrzak, Nikalus Pietrzak, and Cashias Pietrzak.
Services will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Mason-Woodard Chapel. Reverend Justin Monaghan will officiate. The family will receive friends at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service. There will be a Celebration of David’s life at his pond following services.
