Dalton J. Harris, 15, of Charlotte, North Carolina, departed this life suddenly on Friday, January 6, 2017, at Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte.
Dalton entered this life on June 1, 2001, in Joplin, Missouri, son of Billy J. Harris and Crystal (Trauthwein) Taylor. He resided in El Paso, Texas before moving to Charlotte. He was currently a Freshman at Olympic High School in Charlotte. He enjoyed video games, working on computers, spending time with his sisters and caring for his dogs, Duke and Daisy.

Dalton is survived by his father, Billy Harris of Charlotte, North Carolina; his mother, Crystal Taylor and husband, Steve, of El Paso, Texas; two sisters, Aubrey and Breeona Harris; maternal grandparents, Deborah and Jim Brown of Goodman, Missouri; paternal grandparents, Beverly and Stephen Martin of Stella, Missouri; maternal great grandfather, Jim Johnson of Neosho, Missouri; paternal great grandmother, Barbara Martin of Stella, Missouri; an uncle, Joel Martin of Stella; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services for Dalton Harris are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 2016, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Pastor Stewart Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery near Stella, Missouri. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5-7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
