Rodney Gilbert Wilkerson, Neosho, died Jan. 23, 2017 in Belton, Missouri at the age of 56.
Rodney was born July 4, 1960 in Killeen, Texas, the son of Fred Q. and Dorma (Culpepper) Wilkerson. He had worked in construction as a heating and air installer. He enjoyed singing, playing the harmonica and making unique and beautiful belt buckles and was a member of the Sheep Shed Church.
Rodney is survived by a daughter, Brandy Delmarco of Joplin; his mother, Dorma Wilkerson-Lemaster of Neosho; three brothers, Ronald Steven Wilkerson of California; Keith Michael Wilkerson of Salem, Ore and Fred Randall Wilkerson of Pittsburg, KS; one sister, Kathleen Marie Wilkerson of Washington State; his fiance, Cathlene Lee-Smith of Rich Hill, MO and numerous nieces and nephews. Rodney is preceded in death by his father.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017 at 2 pm at the Sheep Shed, located on 0ld 71 Highway, north of Neosho, Jock Evans will officiate.
