Leon Allen, 75, Seneca, MO passed into eternal rest at 7:15am, Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Freeman West Hospital after a long illness.
Leon Allen was born April 11, 1941 in Viola, AR, the son of Coy and Marie (Standlee) Allen. Leon owned and operated Allen’s Tire in Seneca, MO for 19 years. He was a member of the Seneca United Methodist Church.
Leon Allen married Barbara Jean Holt May 4, 1984 in Miami, OK and she survives.
Additional survivors include five sons; Yancy Allen, Bella Vista, AR, LeRoy Allen, State of LA, Troy Allen, Pirden, MO, Jeff Daniels, Norman, OK and Shawn Daniels Blanchard, OK; one daughter, Lori Kingry, Joplin, MO; two brothers, Wayne Allen, Seneca, MO and LeRoy Allen, Webb City, MO; two sisters, Willma Allen Aronhalt, Ketchum, OK and Wanda Sparrow, Ketchum, OK; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Leon was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Waunetta Loucks.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 pm, Sunday, January 29, 2017 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home following that the body will be taken for cremation.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, January 30, 2017 at the Seneca United Methodist Church with Marilyn O’Brien & Cynthia Royce officiating.
