Martha Elizabeth “Liz” Redmond-Williams, age 80 years young of Lamar, Missouri passed to join her husband on May 28th, 2019 at 6:16am at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. Liz was born September 23rd, 1938 in Edgefield, South Carolina.
Wife to the love of her life Richard “Lee” Williams whom she traveled the nation with, arm & arm with their children Winchester and Joshua. They shared the greatest of adventures, laughed, and loved until Lee’s passing to heaven on Oct 5, 2017.
Shining Light, Role Model and Loving mother to her daughter and living legacy Elizabeth Leigh-Corbett, and Loving grandmother to Christopher and Robert Assaf. A lady whose loving energy illuminated the hearts of all whom were blessed to meet her, leaving her mark of exquisite beauty and inspiration forever upon their hearts. Her Smile, and Loving Presence that Lit Up every room, once met, always remembered, admired & loved by many, and treasured by all.
A highly successful self-taught, innovative, highly regarded and well respected businesswoman, climbing the ladder to success, while bringing everyone up with her. She was a living inspiration through her significant presence whom was followed by her employees from company to company throughout her professional career.
Liz enjoyed the beauty of birds, butterflies, and the peaceful tranquility of nature. Her hobbies included collecting angels, and avid collector of vintage Corvettes which happened to be just as her personality gentle and loving with a heart of gold, while smooth and swift when getting things accomplished throughout the duration of her life.
Martha Elizabeth “Liz” Redmond-Williams was God’s Loving Light while here on earth, an angel amongst us who is now and forevermore watching and guarding over us. Her love, light and inspiration lives on, in and through us as she patiently waits for us with arms wide open at the gates of heaven with God and Jesus right beside her.
