Mrs. Mary Alice Robins, 84, of Granby, Missouri, formerly of Bentonville, Arkansas, departed this life on Sunday evening, June 16, 2019, at the Granby House in Granby, Missouri, after a recent decline in health.
Mary entered this life on October 21, 1934, in Big Flat, Arkansas, born to the union of the late Jesse Oscar and Rosa Lullabell (Downs) Jackson. She was raised and attended school in Big Flat, Arkansas. She moved to Bentonville, Arkansas, in 1968. Mary worked hard throughout her life. She was employed for several years at Tyson Foods in Bentonville as well as Bentonville Manor as a CNA, retiring in 1996. She enjoyed spending time outdoors tending to her yard and flowerbeds, crocheting and needle point projects. Mary was of the Pentecostal faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Anthony Alan Arnett; six brothers, Preston, Toby, Glen, Murle, T.J. and Paul Jackson; and two sisters, Idell Cravens and Ruby Palmer.
Mary is survived by her six children, Patricia Ann Henry (Randy) of Pineville, Missouri, George Thomas Arnett (Dana) of Yuma, Arizona, Theresa Kay Adams of Granby, Missouri, Debra Lynn Haddock (Coy) of Big Flat, Arkansas; Angela Sue Hunt (Dan) of Wilmington, Illinois and Sheila Yvonne Arnett of Las Vegas, Nevada; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a brother, Lemuel Floyd Jackson (June) of Tucson, Arizona; a sister, Linda Faye Williams of Pineville, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held graveside on Thursday, June 20, 2019, at the Huddleston Cemetery in Alton, Missouri at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 4-6:00 p.m. in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes.
