Christopher Paul Body, age 43 of Diamond, Missouri passed away Monday, June 24, 2019 after a sudden illness. Chris was born April 8, 1976 in Howell, Michigan to Jim and Rose (Caldwell) Body.
He attended Diamond High School. Chris was employed at Body’s Truck Repair. He enjoyed racing RC cars and gaming in his spare time. He was briefly into dirt modified racing, and spent years playing in multiple rock bands such as Wicked Jester, Now and Again, and Absolute.
He is survived by his father, Jim Body and stepmother, Bobby Body; his brother, Jim Body II and wife, Jessica; his sister, Jennifer Body and fiancé, Will Battiest; one nephew, Jimmy Body III; three nieces, Skyler Douty, Payton Douty, and Samantha Body; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. In addition, Chris is survived by his beloved pet and loyal companion, Jojo.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Body.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 am, Monday, July 1, 2019 at Diamond Cemetery, Diamond, MO. Kevin Sooter will officiate. Honoring Chris by serving as pallbearers will be Brian Little, Jason Little, Dave Thompson, Dave Long, Brad Heifner, and Shane Kissel. A time of visitation will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2019 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO.
