Harold Daniel

Harold W. Daniel, 87, of Stotts City, Missouri, passed away Friday morning, June 28, 2019 at Bentonview Park Heath and Rehabilitation in Monett, Missouri.

Harold entered this life on October 4, 1931 in Nottinghill, Missouri to the union of the late Murl and Willa (Loftis) Daniel. He was a graduate of Gainesville High School. After graduation he proudly serviced in the United States Army. On June 30, 1978 he was united in marriage to Pauline Jones, together they shared almost forty-one years. For several years he worked as a crane and heavy equipment operator for Burk Bridge Company and Ponders Construction. He was in the Union in Heavy equipment and Highway, as well as Building and Trade. He was a long time member of the LaRussell Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing as well as spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Delano R. Daniel and sister, June Stewart.








Harold is survived by his wife, Pauline; children, Randall Daniel of Stotts City, Kathy Goodman, of Mt. Vernon, Anita Beaver, (Louis), of Brookline, Denise Glover, (Mike), Monett and Tammy Moenkhoff, (Gary) of Stotts City; step sons, Billy Veith (Jody), Calvin Veith, (Nancy), all of Sarcoxie, and Jim Veith, (Chris), of Stotts City; nine grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; sister, Donna Mills, of Mt.Vernon; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Graveside funeral service with full military honors for Mr. Daniel are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Hackney Cemetery, east of Carthage with Pastor Tom Armstrong officiating. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Rick Moenkhoff, Kyle Beaver, Gary Moenkhoff, Mike Glover, Louis Beaver and Glenn McDonald. Honorary pallbearers are Calvin Veith and Billy Veith. The family has requested memorial contributions be directed to Hackney Cemetery or LaRussell Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
