Robert D. Moudy of Miami, OK passed from this life Sunday, June 16, 2019 at his home. He was 67.
Robert was born November 8, 1951 in Miami, OK to John Paul and Zilla (Walker) Moudy. Robert had lived in the Miami area all his life. He served in the U.S. Navy and worked for the City of Miami in the Street Department for 37 years before his retirement.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Connes “Ray” Moudy and 3 sisters June Phillips, Paula Morris and Linda Fields.
Survivors include 2 sons, Mark Moudy and wife Stefanie of Joplin, MO and Kurt Moudy and wife Erin of Miami, OK, 1 half-brother, John Paul Moudy, Jr. of Holt, MO, 1 sister, Mary Rarick of Wichita Falls, TX and 4 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2019 at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK. Pastor Casey Hollingsworth will officiate. Interment will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, OK. Military rites will be conducted by the Grove Veterans Ritual Team. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home chapel.
