Wilma Patricia 'Pat' Myers, age 77, Joplin, passed away at 2:45 a.m. Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Spring River Christian Village after an illness.
Pat was born May 12, 1942 in Joplin to the late Sam Alexander and Ann Ebbs Alexander and had lived Joplin the past several years, moving from Greenfield, Missouri.
She worked as the head cook at the Dade County Nursing Home in Greenfield for many years. Pat had also worked at Coleman's in Wichita for several years. She was a member of T.O.P.S. in Greenfield and enjoyed working in her yard and travel. Pat will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by a son, James Myers and his wife, Jessica; two sisters, Judy Brillhart, Hutchison, Kansas, Phyllis Simon, Joplin; two brothers, John Alexander, Joplin, Donnie Alexander, Asbury; grandchildren, John Ruth, Shantel Myers, Katie Myers, James Crab, Tyler McEin, Jayme Myers, Makayla Myers, Abbygale Myers; great grandchildren, Rebecca Draves, Iris Draves, Lilliana James, Annabell Ruth; and many other extended family members.
Graveside services are planned for Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Greenfield, Missouri.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
