Barbara Jean Lane, 77, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin. Barbara was born November 24, 1941 in Steele, MO to Orvel and Padine “Adams” Pfeffer. She was a longtime resident of Carthage, a homemaker, worked at Casey’s General Store on Garrison and was a member of the Eastern Star Order.
Barbara is survived by one sister, Pat Carlstrom of Springfield, MO; one sister-in-law, Jena Pfeffer of Searcy, AR; two nieces, Ellen Carlstrom of Springfield, MO and Carrie Tranum of Searcy, AR; and one nephew, Jim Carlstrom of Springfield, MO.
Barbara was preceded in death by one brother, Don Pfeffer and one brother-in-law, Ed Carlstrom.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Park Cemetery in Carthage.
