For nearly 60 years he was the loving husband of his high school sweetheart, Phyllis Dawn Medlin Bishop, who survives. Other survivors include his sons, Michael Bishop and wife Teri, Springdale and Jeffrey Bishop and Louis Bishop III, both of Rogers; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous extended family members, business associates and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Reaves.
Mr. Bishop was born Oct. 31, 1942, in St. Louis, to Ruth Alberta (Ward) Bishop and Lewis Cleveland Bishop Sr.
For several years he owned and operated Ark-Mo Services in Springdale, a sheet metal fabrication firm, from which he retired. He enjoyed hunting, traveling and time logged as a private pilot, but loved the time shared with his family.
