Rachel Jean Lynn Britt, age 27, Miami, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2019 at Mercy of Springfield as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Rachel was born June 23, 1991 in Independence, Missouri, and grew up in Joplin, graduating from Joplin High School in 2009. She earned an Associate's Degree in child care, and was currently a stay at home mom. She enjoyed reading, listening to music, and playing her guitar and singing to her children. Her biggest joy was being a mom.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kendal Torrie Rose-Lynn Ivy Britt, and her father, Danny Ray Huddleston.
Survivors include her husband, Jimey Britt of Miami; daughter, Alexis Danielle Hope "Ally" Britt and Brilea Hannah Jolene Starr "BB" Britt; mother and step-father, Teresa Huddleston and Florancio "Pepper" Ramirez of Miami; brothers, Rick Bettes of Joplin, Matthew Huddleston of Pittsburg, Kansas; sister, Andrea Hyrup of Oklahoma; nephew, Hunter Bettes.
Graveside service will be Monday, June 17, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Marvin Talley officiating. Pallbearers will be Ernest Dudley, Jeremy Dudley, James Rickey, Jimey Britt, Paul Britt, and David Britt.
The family will receive friends at Parker Mortuary on Sunday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
