After a lingering battle with cancer, Ronald Ray Jones returned to his heavenly home on June 23, 2019 at his home in Neosho, Missouri at the age of 68. His firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.
Ronnie was born September 18, 1950 to Clyde and Myrtle (Hendrix) Jones in Stella, Missouri. Ronnie worked as a machinist in Cassville, Missouri and for several years for CO-OP Poultry and Tyson Foods in Bentonville, Arkansas. He loved to piddle with cars and motors along with doing various projects around the house. He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Gene Jones, James Jones and Ricky Jones; two grandsons, Cody and Christopher Rowell.
On September 18, 1975 he married Janice Banks of Washburn, Missouri who survives him.
Also surviving are his children, Shelia and husband Mike Shelton of Neosho, Missouri, Sherry and husband Jim Carpenter of Bentonville, Arkansas, Karen and husband John Segebartt of Oxford, Kansas, Johnny Jones of Clarksville, Tennessee, William and wife Jennifer Jones of of Bella Vista, Arkansas; grandchildren, Aaron Shelton, Kayla and husband Tyler Harris, Kristen and husband Alex Behrens, Eric and wife Charity Shelton, Landon Carpenter, Shelbi Carpenter, Halie Carpenter, David Dillon Vance, James and wife Andrea Segebartt, Jessica and husband Travis Wells, Tyler, Matthew and Dylan Jones; twelve great-grandchildren; a brother, Allen Jones of Neosho, Missouri.
Service is set for 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 26 at Eastside Assembly of God in Bentonville. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. The family will receive friends at the church at 11:00 A.M. before the service. Burial will be in Dent Cemetery in Missouri.
