Chuck Smith

Charles ‘Chuck’ Spencer Smith, Jr., 52, Diamond, died on June 26, 2019 at his home, following a sudden illness. Charles was born April 13, 1967 in NAS Jacksonville, Florida, the son of Charles and Joy (Tatom) Smith. 

He was employed by Hampshire Pet Supply, working in maintenance. He loved to hunt and fish. 

Charles and Mary Wyrick were married on September 29, 1990 and she survives. 

Additional survivors include three children, Shaela Smith, Cody Smith and Danny Eads; his mother, Joy Tatom; twelve siblings: Jay Smith and wife, Debra; Jim Smith and wife, Jessica; Bill Smith; Bob Smith and wife, Melody; Harve Smith and wife, Cassandra; Scott Smith and wife, Rebecca; Karl Smith and wife, Holly; Frank Smith and wife, Betty; J. P. Smith; Brandy Harty; Samantha Johnson and Georganna Smith; grandson, Tate Ball and grandmother, Frances Tatom; Two aunts: Lesett Harrington and Camilla Serano; and numerous nieces and nephews. 








He is preceded in death by his father, a sister, Michelle Nobles and grandparents, W. L. and Liz Smith. 

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho. Services will be Saturday, June 29th at 10 am at the Diamond First Baptist Church, Billy Jack Mitchell and Chris Wyrick will officiate. Interment will follow in the Diamond Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Ethan Lucas, Garrett Warthen, Brandon Cheek, Andrew Cheek, Lewis Cheek, Jordan McAlister, Jimmie McAlister and Houston Lietzke.
