Doris Brock, age 88 of Joplin, Missouri passed away Monday June 17, 2019 following a decline in health.
She was born April 14, 1931 in Webb City, Missouri to Angust and Lillie (Watkins) Bechhold.
Doris worked at Missouri Gas and Energy for 13 years and the Webb City Bank for 17 years. She was a member of the Central United Methodist Church of Webb City, Missouri. Doris was a life member of the Webb City Historical Society. She was a Bell’s Nickle Collector, a member of the Oakland Heights Ladies, Freeman Advantage, Mercy Hospital Prestige Club and Coleman Theatre Friends. Doris was a former member of the Webb City Ladies of Lions, and the Civil Defense. She was a 1949 graduate of Webb City High School and served on the High School reunion committee.
She married Lloyd Brock on May 1, 1950 and he preceded her in death on July 7, 1993.
Doris is survived by nephew, David Edge and wife Patty, niece, Dana Crane, close friends, Steve Lemaster and wife Connie, Wayne Hodges and wife Sharon as well as several other nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Friday June 21, 2019 at the Central United Methodist Church of Webb City, Missouri with Pastor Clint Lambeth and Randy Wilson minister officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 pm prior to the service.

Memorial contributions are requested to the Lloyd and Doris Brock Scholarship, Central United Methodist Church or the Joplin Humane Society and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
