Samantha Lynn Harr, of Carthage, MO, departed this life on Thursday, June 20, 2019, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO at the age of 34.
She was born on February 4, 1985 in Springfield, MO to Billie Joe and Jolene (Swearingen) Burton. Samantha graduated from Miller High School in 2003. She continued her education receiving her Bachelors Degree in English Education and her Masters Degree in Special Education.
Samantha was united in marriage to Bryan J. Harr on June 6, 2009 at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church in Lockwood. She was a Special Education Teacher for the Carthage Junior High School. Samantha enjoyed coaching t-ball and soccer. She was member of the Christian Motorcycle Association, the Route 66 Cloggers, and the First Christian Church in Carthage.
Preceding her in death was her father, Billie Joe Burton; and one brother, Kevin Burton.
Survivors include her husband, Bryan Harr; her two daughters, Addilyn Harr and Kyla Harr of the home; her mother, Jolene Burton of Lockwood, MO; two brothers, Robert Burton and Michelle of Lockwood, MO and Thomas Burton and his wife Tammy of Trenton, NC; one sister, Brenda Gaines of Lamar, MO; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Martha Harr of Lockwood, MO; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dustin and Lillian Harr of Springfield, MO; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
