David was a twin whose brother is Dean and was one of eleven children. He was born and raised in Carthage. He was a mortar gunner in the National Guard. He worked at Carthage Marble, Morrow Mill and then later retired from Safeway Cheese Plant.
During his life he never met a stranger so of course he had many instant long lasting friends. He was an evangelist at heart, studied the word of God and was a mighty prayer warrior. He started numerous churches and joined many people in Holy matrimony. He was a man of many interests and hobbies which include arrowhead hunting, fishing, cave hunting, Civil War artifacts and memorabilia collecting, rock collecting and metal detecting. Metal detecting was his favorite and he was good at it.
